Classic Canada Goose by Joe Lincoln (Accord, MA)
This goose shows Lincoln's iconic style, known for its clean sharp lines in both form and paint.
 
A mix of original paint and restored surface, with a filled crack to lower left side running through the stippled feathering (the full length of the bird). Cracks like this are typical in Lincoln's decoys. An area on the mid-right side has been filled, possibly due to a large chip or check defect in the wood. Some touch-up to top end of tail.
 
Overall, this bird is a looker and would go well on a shelf, without the cost of a more pristine example.
