Unique little old squaw silhouette drake from south shore of MA, probably the Kingston area. Individual shadows like this are extremely unusual and very few old squaw are found. While this shows a strong Clarence Bailey influence we cannot lend a definitive attribution. Tack eyes, rasped fluting to end of tail and feather pinhole. The wing patches at one time have been scratched to either define or enlarge them, however, the effect is still pleasing. Otherwise surface is excellent and original. Removable from base.
13.5" long x 7.5" high. Base is 5.75" wide.
