A Canada goose with a wonderfully elaborate paint job, in excellent original shape.
This bird was found in southern Maine many years ago and has been in a central Maine collection ever since. I came across several other examples quite a few years ago in southern NH. Most likely a New England bird.
 
Two small cracks (see photos), 1 small dent to back. Otherwise average in-use wear. Fine condition.
 
Measures 27" long, 11.5" high.
