Barn Swallow by Ralph Laurie

Barn Swallow by Ralph Laurie

Barn Swallow by Ralph Laurie (1883–1964; Hingham, MA)

This little guy is just folky. Well-carved, split tail, and a great paint pattern and surface. Laurie made considerably fewer songbirds than ducks, making this a harder species to find.

Small chip to lower end of bill. Otherwise excellent and original. Remnants of Laurie's ink stamp on bottom.

Fresh from an old-time MA collection that was collected and upgraded over 50+ years.

Measures 3.75" tall.
