Feeding Goose by Ralph Laurie
Feeding Canada Goose by Ralph Laurie (1883–1964; Hingham, MA)
This bird looks like he really means business with its long outstretched neck and upswept tail. I really like the form. As Laurie's geese go, this is one of his better pieces. Very appealing paint pattern with feathering to the back and sides and nice soft patina.
Fresh from an old-time MA collection that was collected and upgraded over 50+ years.
Excellent and original in all respects. Bears Laurie's ink stamp.
Measures 7.5" long, 3.25" tall.
