Wendell Gilley Paperweight Style Black Duck
An interesting little mini black duck by Wendell Gilley, most likely from the mid 1970s. These paperweight style ducks are hard to come by as he preferred to make lifelike standing examples. A delicate bird with raised and carved wings, pinpoint glass eyes and a finely detailed paint pattern. A nice example of Gilley's work. Signed Gilley on the bottom.
