Redhead Paperweight by Joel Barber (1876-1952)
 
Wood paperweights by Barber are extremely hard to find. We've only seen a couple others over the years. The carved water surface on this one makes it exceptionally nice. The patina is soft and mellow and it is about as mint as they come. Great opportunity to get a hard to find piece by the great-grandfather of decoy collecting.
 
Measures 7.5" long and just under 5" tall.
