Exquisite Loon by Ralph Laurie (1883–1964; Hingham, MA)
 
Capturing the true essence of a loon is difficult. Laurie has done this incredibly well, exemplifying his own unique folk art style. I've only seen one other comparable loon over the years. A rare species for Laurie.
 
Fresh from an old-time MA collection that was collected and upgraded over 50+ years.
 
Overall condition excellent. Bears Laurie's circular inkstamp on bottom of base.
