Wood Thrush by Jess Blackstone

This bird sports a perky upright & alert attitude that makes you look right to its eyes. It features a great textured surface, dropped wings and chip-carved base. The paint is exquisite and highly detailed.
 
Some touch-up to the bill due to a rub to paint on its tip.
 
Signed on base with Blackstones usual monogram, species identification and number (74).
